BANBURY Bulls’ title hopes are hanging by a thread after leaders Earlsdon picked up maximum points from their game in hand.

Earlsdon’s 38-7 victory over Bedworth leaves them needing just four more points from two games to guarantee the title.

Second-placed Banbury, however, will make sure of at least a play-off spot by winning their final two matches.
