HENLEY Hawks slipped to seven points from safety after a 19-10 defeat Old Albanians.
Hawks, who fielded on-loan London Welsh player Billy Moss at loosehead prop, started well and scored the opening try when full back Ed Yarnton ran clear.
Fly half James Comben converted, but was denied a second kick after wing Liam O’Neill’s try was disallowed for a forward pass.
Albanians fly half Lawrence Rayner slotted a penalty after Henley No 8 Robbie Stapley was sin-binned.
Lock Billy Johnson forced his way over for the hosts and Rayner’s conversion made it 10-7.
Rayner and Comben traded penalties before the break.
The second half was another close affair, with Henley forwards Matt Payne Ryan Newman, Josh McNally and Stapley prominent.
Rayner kicked a penalty on 60 minutes, while Henley wing Xavier Andre was tap-tackled ten metres short.
Rayner sealed victory with a last-minute drop goal, which denied Hawks a bonus point.
