SOUTH WEST 1 EAST

DOMINANT scrummaging and good decision-making were the keys to Witney’s impressive 40-0 victory at Marlow.

Chris Beasley led the way with a try double as visitors Witney earned a bonus-point win.

Henry Lamb got the scoreboard moving with two penalties before Joe Rowles burrowed over for Witney’s opening try.

Beasley ran in his double before half-time, with Scott Mortimer earning the bonus-point try.

James Monks and Marc Copperwheart got in on the act to complete Witney’s six-try haul, with Lamb kicking two conversions.

The only downside was a yellow card for Carl Strutt.

Witney climbed to ninth after the victory, leapfrogging Marlow, who are now 11th.
