10:00am Saturday 21st September 2013 in Rugby
GREENE KING IPA CHAMPIONSHIP
FORMER Nottingham wing Rhys Crane will make his league debut for London Welsh against his old club at Meadow Lane tomorrow.
Summer signing Crane replaces the injured Joe Ajuwa as one of five chamnges to the side, who started in the 24-13 victory over Bedford Blues.
Seb Jewell replaces Will Robinson at full back, while Peter Browne comes in for Matt Corker at lock.
Mitch Lees and Ben Pienaar replace Dan Browne and Ollie Stedman in the back row.
On the bench, Oxford Blue Kevin Davis is named as replacement hooker instead of Nathan Morris.
“Our team selection is based on the strength in depth we have,” said head coach Justin Burnell.
“No players are dropped; we just want to give everyone who’s come into the club in the summer an opportunity.”
Nottingham’s only change sees Matthew Jarvis return from illness to replace Rory Lynn at fly half.
On the bench, Scott Wright replaces Ollie Taylor, Tom Price comes in for Harry Wells and Rory Lynn swaps places with Jarvis.
Head coach Martin Haag said: “There’s plenty for us to work on and we can certainly improve.
“They’ll be amongst the favourites for the league and I expect it to be a good game for the fans.”
