THREE second-half goals from visitors Yeovil Town condemned Oxford United Women to a second successive 3-0 defeat in the FA Women’s Super League 2.

It could have been so different for the U’s if captain Sahara OsborneRicketts’ early effort had gone in rather than hit the inside of the post.

That was as close as Oxford came to finding the net and Yeovil’s breakthrough came five minutes after the break.

Annie Heatherson lobbed onrushing goalkeeper Demi Lambourne and when her effort came back off the bar, former England international Corinne Yorston was on hand to tap into the empty net.

Nicola Cousins headed the second, before Annie Heatherson poked home.
