United striker Matt Green played 45 minutes for England C in their 1-1 draw with Hungary in Székésfehérvár on Tuesday night.
“It was a really good experience,” Green said, on returning to United’s training ground yesterday.
“I came on at half-time for Histon’s Nat Knight-Percival with the score already 1-1. I cut inside the box and had a shot, which went close, and put a few crosses into the box. The manager (Paul Fairclough) said I livened it up, so I was pleased.”
England’s goal came from Mansfield’s Louis Briscoe.
