THE final relegation, automatic promotion and play-off places in Sky Bet League One will be decided today.
Port Vale’s midweek victory at Walsall kept their survival hopes alive, but an inferior goal difference means they will almost certainly have to win at Fleetwood Town to have a chance of staying up.
Gillingham, one point better off, have a more favourable fixture at Northampton Town, while Bury’s goal difference means a point at Southend United would be enough to survive.
Technically Oxford United’s opponents Shrewsbury Town are not yet secure, but only three results going against them and a ten-goal swing in favour of Vale would send them down.
In the race for sixth, a win will book Millwall’s play-off place.
Dropped points would open the door for Southend or Rochdale, who host Bradford City.
A win for Bolton Wanderers at home to Peterborough United will promotion, while a point should be enough, but defeat could see Fleetwood pinch second.
