STRIKER Patrick Hoban has joined Sky Bet League Two strugglers Stevenage on a month's loan.
The 24-year-old, who has been on the books at Oxford United for just over a year, was made available for loan at the weekend.
Hoban has made 53 appearances since joining from League of Ireland outfit Dundalk where he scored 20 goals as they won the Premier Division in 2014.
But he has been unable to replicate that success with the U’s, finding the net just six times, while restricted to only eight starts this season.
United head coach Michael Appleton said: “Pat has done well, but for one reason or another he has not been able to get a run of games.
"It makes sense for him to go out, play games at Stevenage and hopefully get a few goals as well."
