RESIDENTS can have their say about what services they would like to see at a Hampshire hospital.

The Eastleigh Southern Parishes Older People's Forum has organised a meeting at Bursledon Village Hall, in Long Lane, titled ‘What we want at Moorgreen’ on May 12, from 10.30am to 2.15pm.

This will be a chance to voice thoughts on the future of the Moorgreen Hospital in West End.

Attendees include Jane Gordon, Communication and Engagement Manager for West Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group, and Catherine Bowell, Programme Director of Clinical Commissioning for Community Hospitals.

The hospital’s future has been the subject of discussion after Eastleigh Borough Council’s cabinet agreed its vision for potential future development of the site as a guide to developers.

This would involve moving the current facilities to another part of the site, but this has caused concern about what services will be offered there and the lack of car parking.

The council expects a planning application imminently.
