Families met in Cassiobury Park to raise awareness of rare eye disorder Coats disease on Saturday.
Sufferers of Coats disease, a nonhereditary eye disorder that causes full or partial blindness, have multiple surgeries and treatments often from childhood.
The campaign Know The Glow seeks to raise awareness that a golden glow reflected back from your child's eye in a flash photograph can indicate a serious eye disease or cancer.
Campaigners say knowing about the glow can help people facilitate early detection and prevention of some serious eye problems promptly.
