HISTORIC Yorkshire drinks company Taylors of Harrogate will appear in office coffee machines across the country after partnering with global brand Mars Drinks.

Mars Drink, part of Mars Incorporated, has entered into an agreement with the parent company of Yorkshire Tea, which will see Taylors' coffee and tea varieties supplied as part of Mars Drinks' workplace beverage portfolio.

Mars said while it is "proud to carry renowned brands Yorkshire Tea and Taylors Rich Italian Coffee", using the same recipe as Taylors, it will be packaged in Mars Drinks' proprietary Freshpacks.

Hossam Ashraf, general manager of Mars Drinks UK, said: "Mars Drinks and Taylors of Harrogate are both family-owned businesses committed to quality.

"That’s why we’re proud to include Taylors of Harrogate’s premium tea and coffee in our drinks portfolio.

"By adding these national favourites to our offering, we’re able provide our customers with more choices throughout the workday including these well-known brands they love and recognise."

The inclusion of Taylors of Harrogate products in Mars Drinks’ workplace drinks solutions portfolio is the latest in a series of new drink and machine offerings from the company, including the new FLAVIA barista, which crafts coffees, teas, lattes, cappuccinos and espressos.

Matthew Huffer, sales director at Taylors of Harrogate said: "Mars Drinks has proven the FLAVIA drinks machine and Freshpack technology can deliver a proper brew that upholds the strict quality standards our consumers have come to expect from our brands.

"We are delighted with this opportunity to extend our retail brands into the workplace, offering the same recipes our customers love in a convenient single-serve format.

"Partnering with Mars helps raise our brand awareness and encourages more people to try Taylors products. Having enjoyed our drinks at work we are hoping that they pop our tea and coffee into their shopping basket too."
