A PENSIONER has died after he was hit by a car as he crossed a busy road in Glasgow.
The 85-year-old man was struck while crossing Great Western Road, near Duntreath Avenue, in Drumchapel, this morning. Paramedics rushed him to the Western Infirmary following the accident at 7.50am, but he died a short time later.
A 23-year-old man driving the car involved in the incident was not injured but was left badly shaken.
