A BANK clerk who embezzled almost #16,000 has been told to repay the

cash at #10 a week.

It could take Andrew Davidson, 23, of Addison Terrace, Crieff, 28

years to clear his debt.

He admitted embezzling #15,983 while working for the Trustees Savings

Bank in Crieff, Pitlochry, and Perth.

Defence lawyer John McLaughlin told Perth Sheriff Court yesterday that

his client had already paid a lump sum of #1700 after he sold all his

assets.

Davidson, a computer operator, transfer funds from dormant accounts to

his own.

Sheriff Michael Monro deferred sentence for six months.
