For pete's sake, give GW a chance. What do you want...every 5 minutes a new manager? Give the man a chance and SUPPORT him as he will need your support to make OUFC a success again.
You pessimists are poisonous to the club and are toxic to other supporters, who don't know better than to believe your tirades. Do you really think IL wants to waste his money and time? Do you not think that IL wants what's best for the club and to bring success to the club? Seeing as its his money and his family name on the line, I think he's investing more than his fair share into the club and certainly more than you or I. Show the man some respect and trust his selection of manager. The time for judging GW on his results will be this season coming, not last season.
Please support the club otherwise p!ss OFF!
OK - oxford - how has Gary done? Hunt - your view? Newey - your view? Other transfers - your view? His games in charge - bottom f the table form - your view? Mine - 2 out of 10 (being kind) - your view?"

TOM Newey has put pen to paper on a new contract which will keep the defender at Oxford United next season.

The 31-year-old was out of contract this summer, but was offered terms earlier this month.

After considering his options, the left back has agreed to the new 12-month deal.

Newey signed last summer after being released by Scunthorpe United, making 47 appearances as the U's finished eighth in Sky Bet League Two.
