I'll leave you with this stat - it is six seasons since Oxford United won their opening two league games of the season.
About time to end that run, wouldn't you say?
11:32am
And of course there will be the live blog from the Kassam Stadium tomorrow night. #oufc v #southendunited from 7pm.

11:32am
Right, that just about wraps it up for our Monday morning #oufc fans debate. Thanks for your input everyone, top stuff...
— @OxfordMailOUFC 20 August 2012
...we'll be back same time, same place next week, but in the meantime you can check out this week's in full right here: http://t.co/ZovG48O2
— @OxfordMailOUFC 20 August 2012
11:28am
@creashor @OxfordMailOUFC not a question of negativity. three figures plus for a striker with his record in the lge is sensational value
— @cricketbetting 20 August 2012
11:27am
@cricketbetting I liked the look of him against Bournemouth. Wilder's a big fan, it's just a case of keeping him fit.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 20 August 2012
11:26am
@OxfordMailOUFC i'd like to see craddock as the main man. he's a 20 goal-plus guy comfortably.
— @cricketbetting 20 August 2012
11:25am
@danielfreeman83 Cheers. We're planning to do it every Monday 10.30-11.30, so hopefully see you back here next week.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 20 August 2012
11:23am
@OxfordMailOUFC not terrible but not worth a 3 figure sum. we all know that. astonished we are being greedy. when's his contract up?
— @cricketbetting 20 August 2012
@cricketbetting @OxfordMailOUFC he needs to do better, but 1 in 3 is OK. Am amazed that so many fans seem so negative about him. Perplexing.
— @creashor 20 August 2012
11:23am
@OxfordMailOUFC work will probably send me elsewhere. Know plenty that are though. Web chat very innovative. Good idea, keep it up!
— @danielfreeman83 20 August 2012
11:22am
Just 10 mins left on the #oufc chat, lots of topics covered already, get your points in now: http://t.co/ZovG48O2
— @OxfordMailOUFC 20 August 2012
11:17am
@OxfordMailOUFC I'd be surprised if we didn't take a thousand. Oxford supporters never let the team down. Just hope it's priced right!
— @danielfreeman83 20 August 2012
11:16am
Interesting point of view, Ed.
Constable's not had the greatest 12 months, but 28 in 89 is still almost 1 in 3, which isn't terrible.
What do other supporters think? Should the club have cashed in or is he still a prized asset?
11:15am
@OxfordMailOUFC at the end of the season we won't believe that anyone was prepared to pay for him
— @cricketbetting 20 August 2012
11:14am
@OxfordMailOUFC tell them to sell Constable. Any £ offer for a striker who has 28 goals in last 89apps is a extraordinary one.
— @cricketbetting 20 August 2012
11:09am
I'm also off to #oufc later for a chat pre-Southend. Any questions for the gaffer/players?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 20 August 2012
11:07am
What about the Leeds United trip?
It'll be midweek which will be tough for many people, but is anyone tempted? It's almost 15 years since United last visited Elland Road.
11:05am
Maybe it's just a clever bit of marketing - the gates are split in JPT ties so a big crowd will benefit both clubs.
His sentiments do differ from Chris Wilder's more measured quotes after the game on Saturday: http://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/sport/oxfordunited/9882367.Wilder_looking_forward_to_Oxford_United_v_Swindon_clash/
11:04am
@OxfordMailOUFC assuming he's referring to them being demoted 3 divisions for financial reasons in the near future?
— @ollyhowells 20 August 2012
@OxfordMailOUFC My God, I don't need another reason to despise them or anything connected to them but he's just given me one. Classless
— @creashor 20 August 2012
11:03am
So, Michael 'Dubes' Duberry really was in with the fans. Great to see him up and about so soon after his operation:

Dougie07 says
I can do my own plugging here. If you read Paul Beasley's article on Rage Online, you'll see a photo of Dubes in with the fans behind the goal (along with his opinions of the opening week, which are always worth a read!).

11:02am
Welcome Dave.
Momentum is the key word for United. Think the opening two games will put a few people on the gate tomorrow - are there any floating voters out there who've been convinced back?
11:01am
@OxfordMailOUFC Hey Guys, Lets see if we can get a big crowd for the first league game at home 2moro night and carry on from sat!! :0) #oufc
— @OSeeds 20 August 2012
11:00am
The #stfc chairman also thinks it'll be a sell-out - rare for a JPT game but it'll be hotly anticipated. What do you make of his comments?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 20 August 2012
11:00am
You'll love this. #stfc chairman ahead of #oufc JPT tie: "It’s a great chance to get back the bragging rights after last season...
— @OxfordMailOUFC 20 August 2012
"After leaving that league there was a possibility that we wouldn’t get the chance as we may not be in the same league for some time." #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 20 August 2012
10:57am
I think we all know Constable's one of those strikers who tends to score in batches. One tomorrow night and he could be up and running, it should be only a matter of time...
What have you made of the other attackers? Rigg got 10 goals last season and I thought Craddock did well after coming on against Bournemouth.
10:56am

— @OxfordMailOUFC 20 August 2012
10:56am
@OxfordMailOUFC JFC's was the better goal but they were both great to see. I just want Constable to score, if only to silence the doubters
— @creashor 20 August 2012
10:54am
@OxfordMailOUFC it's clear your diaries, cancel all engagements and do all in power to make the JPT tie, going to be a magic night
— @AndrewRansley 20 August 2012
@OxfordMailOUFC yes we owe them big time, going to be a tight game but can see a 1-0 win and Beano must be due a goal
— @AndrewRansley 20 August 2012
10:54am
@OxfordMailOUFC thought the whole team performed very well. Impressed with Raynes. Both goals awesome but Alfie's edged it for me.
— @AbingdonTony 20 August 2012
10:54am
Good stuff, from the press box you could hear you lot making a right old racket.
Wasn't Michael Duberry in with you somewhere?
10:53am
10:52am Mon 20 Aug 12
Dougie07 says
I was indeed. It's not easy to create an atmosphere in there, but we got a good day to visit.
10:52am
Chris Wilder shares your sentiment, Creashor, so far so good but it's only one good week.
Scoring regularly will be the key to how United go this season, but it's a bit early to draw any conclusions.
Cracking goals on Saturday, though - which one did everyone prefer?
10:50am
@OxfordMailOUFC I'm not going overboard yet but there were reasons for optimism. Still worry about our ability to score freely though.
— @creashor 20 August 2012
10:50am
@OxfordMailOUFC remember that well, great memories, sadly couldn't make sat, positive start, great goals, can't wait for tomorrow night
— @AndrewRansley 20 August 2012
10:47am
@AndrewRansley It was 2009/10 - a 2-1 win over York. Remember that one? What did you think of Saturday's win?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 20 August 2012
10:47am
@OxfordMailOUFC trying to remember the last time we started a season at home lol
— @AndrewRansley 20 August 2012
10:44am
Welcome aboard, Dougie.
Have to agree with you - all departments impressed and the way the chances were taken was very encouraging.
Two clean sheets out of two as well, all positives.
Were you one of the 1,019 in the away end on Saturday?
10:43am
10:40am Mon 20 Aug 12
Dougie07 says
It was a terrific start for us. Both goals were pleasing, but were perhaps surpassed by the manner in which we held onto our lead. We will need to be both clinical and organised in defence if we are to win away from home and the organisation displayed by the defence (and Lee Cox in front of them) give great cause for optimism.
10:43am
Morning Creashor. Honestly the players I've spoken to haven't batted an eyelid about Constable.
The feeling among everyone at United seemed to be it was a long shot - if he turned down Swindon in January then Rovers hardly seemed a better move.
For Constable's part he's always excellent at saying the right thing - reiterating his love for United and this time he's determined not to let it affect his form.
What did you make of Saturday?
10:41am
@OxfordMailOUFC Dave, you speak to the players, how have they reacted to the incessant and tedious speculation concerning Constable's 'move'
— @creashor 20 August 2012
10:40am
@OxfordMailOUFC I'll kick it off with the view from #brfc end - #oufc much better side - good football on the deck. Thought Raynes impressed
— @ukcavhead 20 August 2012
10:38am
Here's one fan's take on Saturday. Do you agree?
@OxfordMailOUFC fantastic result against a team that will be there abouts at the end of the season come on you yellows
— @djwebb687 18 August 2012
10:36am
What did you think of #oufc's win at #brfc? Can you remember a better start to the league season? More importantly, which goal was best?
