An increasing demand for school places has led Redbridge Council to announce a series of feasibility studies on the expansion of 10 schools.

At a meeting of cabinet last night, approval was given to carry out the studies with a view to expanding

• Aldersbrook Primary School
• Oakdale infant and Primary School
• Redbridge Primary School
• Valentines High School
• Cleveland Infant School
• Gearies Primary School
• Parkhill Infant and Junior Schools
• South Park Primary
• Hatton Special School
• Gilbert Colvin Primary School

It will cost the council £225,000 to carry out the studies.
