GREYHOUNDS: Stalwart Mick calls it a day
10:30am Saturday 21st April 2012 in Other sport By John Gaisford
Mick Partlett
SERIOUS ill health over the last year or two has forced popular clerk of the course Mick Partlett to accept a redundancy offer from the Greyhound Racing Association.
A fixture at Sandy Lane for the last 35 years in both full and part-time capacities, Mick is married to Tony Magnasco’s assistant trainer, Pat.
When he is well enough, Partlett is sure to be around the Great Milton kennels – as well as now being able to be a more relaxed racegoer at most meetings.
