Calgary Bay, from Henrietta Knight’s West Lockinge stables, near Wantage, was allotted 11st 6lb when the weights for the John Smith’s Grand National at Aintree on Saturday, April 14 were unveiled yesterday.

Roulez Cool, trained by Robert Waley-Cohen at Edgehill, near Banbury, has 10st 5lb, while Qhilimar, from Charlie Longsdon’s Chipping Norton yard is on 9st 13lb.

Minella Theatre, Aston Rowant trainer Lawney Hill’s entry, is at the foot of the list with 9st 0lb.
