Ten-year-old Natalie Carter, from Oxford, caught a massive redtail catfish weighing nearly 50lb while on holiday in Thailand.
The big fish took 45 minutes to land and she wasn’t finished there. She then caught a big snakeshead weighing around 7lb.
Natalie was fishing Ratchaburi Lake and both fish are believed to be international records for her age group.
Her father, David, said: “Others might have thrown down the rod and given up when the big fish was on, but she battled on.
“She refused to hand the rod over!”
