ALEX Lynn is hoping for a change of fortune when the Formula E season visits Zurich this weekend.

The Grove-based 24-year-old has not picked up a point in the last three races, suffering an electrical issue in the last round in Berlin to finish 16th.

But there were still reasons for encouragement in Germany, according to the DS Virgin Racing driver.

He said: “Although Berlin was disappointing in the race, it was nice to get back to where we should be in terms of pace.

“I was among the leading runners in all the practice sessions and qualifying.

“I’ve not had the luck in the races so far during my rookie Formula E season, so now it’s time to put together a decent run and score some good points – I know that’s just around the corner.”

It will act as a warm-up for Lynn’s participation in the Le Mans 24-hour race next weekend.
