CHRIS Webb captured Littlemore AS’s Spring League title after winning all three rounds for a full house.

In the final round of the competition, sponsored by Top Tackle and BJP Insurance, Webb won with an all carp net from Bishops Bowl totalling 92lb 3oz 00drms.

Wayne Gray, on the next peg, finished second with 79.15.0, while Malcolm Smith (63.14.0) was third with a late burst of big carp taken down the edge with pellet.

Final league standings: 1 C Webb 75pts, 2 B Hutchings 54, 3 T Need 49.

Steve Johnson was a clear winner of the fifth round of Yarnton & District AC’s Summer League also at Bishops Bowl.

Fishing an end peg, Johnson put a mixed bag of 52.5.0 on the scales – all pole caught on hard pellet at 11 metres.

Harry Oliver who caught carp on the method feeder with meat as hookbait, was runner-up, while third place went to the consistent Jamie Godfrey who now leads the league by two points on 39.

Martin Wilkinson won Beehive AC’s pairs match by a huge margin after filling the top two individual placings at Panshill.

Wilkinson took top spot with 74.6.0 of carp to pole and meat, while Jeacock was runner-up with 51.11.0. Bob Hopgood came third with 46.6.0.

Using his favourite bread punch bait, Dave Britnell won the fifth North Oxford AS Canal Summer Series match at Aristotle Lane.

Britnell landed a three pound bream followed by roach and skimmers for a winning weight of 4.13.8.

Jamie Barrett had perch and skimmers for 4.4.8 and second place, while Gordon Collier finished third with 3.2.0.
