NORTH Oxford men’s stunning run of success continued when they won 8-4 away to Milton Keynes in the Team Tennis National League.

That made it three wins out of three this season, and 14 on the bounce since the club won through their regional rounds last year.

Both Seb Rey and Jon Maskens overcame more highly-ranked opponents, while Ben Calnan also won his singles without dropping a set.

Another victory at home to Winchester this Sunday (12), could see North qualify for the national play-offs.

Meanwhile, North Oxford’s ladies had a resounding 8-4 victory over Abingdon in the Oxfordshire League after singles wins from Lara Frank, Emma Tolson and Maxine Perkins.

North Oxford’s Under 12 boys went down 8-4 away to Cardiff, losing three of their matches 12-10 in the tie-break.
