EAST Oxford FC, with the support of Oxford City Council, are running a basketball tournament for teenagers on Monday.
Already seven teams of players aged from 15 to 18 have entered the event, which takes place at the Oxford Spires Academy, Glanville Road, at noon.
“We are looking for more teams” said one of the organisers Hassan Elmi.
“Any youngsters in Oxford will be welcome to enter.”

l ABINGDON Eagles rounded off a successful season with a celebration at Abingdon Rugby Club attended by more than 150 people.
Eagles’ girls side scooped the team of the year prize.
The club will hold trials for players who will be in school years eight and nine in September at Abingdon & Witney College, Abingdon Campus, on Saturday, May 12 (1pm).
