OXFORD finished their South League Regional 1 season in style with a 10-2 win over relegated Milton Keynes 2nd.

There were hat-tricks from Hector Lyons and James Cutter for Oxford, James Rayward (2), Will Meacher and Dale Beckley were also on target.

With promotion already assured, Witney lost 3-0 at home to Banbury 2nd in Regional 2 on Friday, all the goals coming in the first half.

The following day, Witney drew 2-2 at West Hampstead in their final match.

After taking a 2-0 lead through Ryan Fitz-John and Ben Moss, Witney were in the end indebted to a great save from keeper Craig Simms – playing his first game of the season – for securing a point.

Meanwhile, Wallingford ladies saved one of their best performances of the season until last when beating Sonning 2nd 6-1 away from home.

The visitors secured fourth place in Trysports Three Counties Premier 1 as a result.

Louise Conlon and Megan Jones both scored twice, with Philippa Morris and Leah Merryweather also on target.
