ROSS Barker emerged from a hard-fought final against Connor Jones to claim to Gentworks Oxford & District League’s Walt Bradbury Trophy.
Jones took the first frame of the contest 64-39, but a break of 38 helped Barker take the second 59-17.
After a prolonged battle on the brown, Barker eventually took the decider 63-49 to claim the trophy.
In the semi-finals at the Abingdon Conservative Club, Barker came from behind to defeat Lewis Moss 48-64, 65-9, 59-9, while Jones scraped past Peter Fenn 33-44, 52-4, 53-50, after potting the final black.
