Frankie Kupce won bronze
MARTIAL ARTS: Frankie Kupce, from Abingdon, helped win a bronze medal for Team Kata at the Karate National Championships in Leicester.
The eight-year-old member of Veras Oxford was in the team with Vadim Druta and Dylan Gibson.
Oxford’s Alice Kupce and Zoe Whitla performed well without winning medals.
Veras Oxford teaches the sport to schools and sports facilities in Abingdon and Oxford.
