DIVISION 2 leaders Headington Conservative Club recorded an upset 4-2 win at Division 1 side Masons Arms in the Oxford & District League, writes PETE EWINS.
Dave Rose took the first leg for the hosts with 6,300, before Roger Tomlin (6,910), Keith Hollis and Tim Jeffreys put Headington 3-1 up . The pairs were then shared.
Vikings B went down 5-1 at home to Premier Division leaders Donnington, Sean Stratford (4,700) being the sole winner.
Gladiators B were whitewashed 6-0 at Berinsfield, whose Phil McFarland was the top scorer with 6,800.
Oracle won 6-0 away to Gladiators Club A thanks to Mark Trafford (6,940), Ian Gordon (6,680) Kevin Godfrey (6,790) and Pauline Withey.
Vikings A lost 4-2 at West Oxford Democrats Club, despite Mike Jones scoring 9,640.
