THREE Oxfordshire Juniors got the season off to a great start, winning medals at the Gloucestershire Under 19 Bronze tournament held in Cheltenham.

The first success went to Sutton Courtenay’s Hannah Craig, who picked up a silver medal in the girls singles, losing in the final to Lowri Hart (Wales).

There was also silver for Maisie Marriott (Didcot) in the girls doubles and a bronze for Maisie Boyd (Chalgrove) in the mixed.

  • THE annual Oxfordshire County Championships were held at St Helen and St Katharine School, Abingdon, with 85 players competing across five age groups.
