ALAN Hill plans to send a battalion of runners to Kingston Blount on Sunday.

The Aston Rowant handler is likely to saddle eight horses over the seven races, having initially made 19 of the meeting’s 78 entries.

Allie Beag goes in the restricted, while Brian’s Well and Double Handful are both set to line up in the conditions’ race.

Start Royal (ladies), For ‘N Again (men’s), Changeofluck (intermediate) and Breakdown Cover (maiden) are also primed, with either Ravethebrave or Harris Garden being aimed for the members.

The meeting gets under way at 2pm, with the course located at OX39 4SG.

Admission is £10 per person, with under 18s going free.

Meanwhile, Gina Andrews rode a superb 74-1 five-timer at the Warwickshire Point-to-Point at Mollington, near Banbury.

The reigning champion produced a virtuoso riding display with wins on favourites Celtic Silver (4-5), Gretta Rose (5-2), Man Of Steel (1-3), Ginuwinefizz (7-4) and Tigeralley (9-4) to the delight of a bumper crowd.

It saw the 25-year-old become only the second lady rider to record a five-timer following Polly Curling at the Axe Vale Harriers meeting at Stafford Cross on Saturday, April 15, 1995.

And with four of the winners trained by her husband, Tom Ellis, at their Marton base, near Rugby, it made the red-letter day extra special for the Cheltenham Festival- winning rider.
