THE final of the Oxford & District Snooker League’s Colin Cutler Memorial Cup will be an all-Abingdon Conservative Club affair.

The club’s A team defeated Q Zone D 4-2 in a tight semi-final, where four of the frames were decided on the final black.

Keith Hollis won twice for Q Zone, but Con Club were taken to victory by double successes from Neil Craycraft and Karl Walker.

In the other semi-final, Abingdon Conservative B saw off Witney A 4-1.

l JUSTIN Shepherd was celebrating after winning the Gentworks Oxford & District Billiards League’s Arthur Cook Handicap Cup.

In the final, Shepherd, playing off a +30 handicap, overcame Tom Fletcher (+75) 200-151 with breaks of 28 and 27.

Shepherd beat scratch player Nigel Bossom 200-157 in the semis, while Fletcher defeated Peter Franklin Routh (+30) 200-185.
