BAR BILLIARDS: Masons edge to Oxford League pairs final
MASONS edged into the final of the pairs competition with victory over Donnington in the Johnson Buildbase Oxford & District League.
The clash finished 2-2, but Dave Rose and Alan Lowe progressed past Dave Tooke and Ian Moquet 16,880-15,010.
They will face Oracle, whose line-up of Mark Trafford and Kevin Godfrey won the other semi-final 3-0 against Democrats’ Richard Garrett and Terry Green.
In the quarter-final of the Off The Spot singles, Vikings’ Alan Oliver beat Pauline Withey, from Oracle, 2-0.
