IN the clash between the two undefeated teams, Oracle beat hosts Vikings A 4-2 to go joint top of the Premier Division in the Johnsons Buildbase Oxford League.
Ian Gordon (11,460) took the opening leg for Oracle, before Ian Moss (12,630 – break 9,750) levelled.
Mark Trafford (15,460 – break 9,270) and Brian Rose, who beat Allan Lacey 5,570- 4,830, put Oracle 3-1 in front.
Pete Ewins (break 5,500) and Ian Moss won the first pairs match 7,160-6,340 for Vikings, but Oracle took the second to seal victory.
Division 1 leaders Donnington won 4-2 at Gladiators Club A, but lurking just a point behind are Masons A who pulled off a 5-1 win at Democrats Club.
Chris Bateman, Alan Lowe, Mick Murphy and Dave Rose (6,360) won the opening four singles before the pairs were shared.
