OXFORDSHIRE moved up to third place in Division 1 of the BDO Inter-Counties Championship with a 23-13 victory over Cleveland at Bicester.
The hosts were well on the way to victory over the strugglers by the end of the first day, when they led 14-4.
They had a great start, with the Ladies’ B winning 5-1, led by Trina Blackman (17.07).
It was followed by the Men’s B, wo romped toa 9-3 success, where man of the match Tom Baughan (29.47) took the £100 for the highest average of the weekend.
Missed doubles cost the Ladies A in a 4-2 defeat, although Deta Hedman (25.91) collected £50 for the highest ladies’ average.
Paddy Kearns (28.63) starred in a 7-5 success for the Men’s A, which sealed a straightforward victory for Oxfordshire.
