THERE was little joy for Oxfordshire teams in the final Formula 1 race of the season in Abu Dhabi.
While Nico Rosberg clinched his first world title after finishing second to Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton, there was a low-key finish for Williams, Renault, Manor and Haas.
In his 250th and final grand prix, Felipe Massa came ninth for the Grove-based Williams, who ended fifth in the constructors championship.Valtteri Bottas retired.
Renault, based in Enstone, concluded with 17th position for Jolyon Palmer and a retirement from Kevin Magnussen in his last race for the team, to end ninth.
Romain Grosjean and Esteban Gutierrez were 11th and 12th for Haas, while Esteban Ocon and Pascal Wehrlein came 13th and 14th for the Manor team, also from Banbury.
