TWO Oxfordshire junior teams achieved astonishing 20-0 whitewash victories in their Shires League matches at St Helen and St Katharine School, Abingdon.
Their under 14s beat Cornwall without dropping a single set.
This feat was matched by the county’s under 18 side, who beat Northants thanks to Isaac Woods, Jamie Cackett, James Moreton-Smith, Dan Worth, Maisie Boyd, Maisie Marriott, Hannah Craig and Bronwynn Ready.
Meanwhile, Oxon Under 16s, despite fielding national under 15 singles champion Ethan Rose and under 15 doubles bronze medallist Christian Mitchell, went down 16-4 to Bucks at Milton Keynes.
