Maddy Cook and Charlie Driver
THE three Oxfordshire players taking part in the Hertfordshire Under 15 bronze tournament in Welwyn Garden City all returned with medals.
Charlie Driver (Minster Lovell) triumphed in the boy’s doubles with Suffolk’s Suket Arya to win his first title at this level.
Driver, a pupil at Burford School, then partnered Maddy Cook (Bartholomew School) to win in the mixed doubles.
The duo beat a highly-rated pairing from the host county 21-15 in a tense final.
Cook then teamed up with Rebecca Norkett (Our Lady’s, Abingdon) to take bronze in the girls doubles.
