BAR BILLIARDS: Oracle retain Gracie J’s League Cup
HOLDERS Oracle defended their Gracie J’s League Cup crown in the Johnsons Buildbase Oxford & District League after beating Premier champions Vikings Club 4-2, writes PETE EWINS.
Mark Trafford (15,010, break 14,950), Ian Gordon (6,070) and Brian Rose (5,600) put Oracle 3-0 ahead.
Mike Jones (9,120) reduced the arrears, only for Trafford and Gordon to win the pairs.
Ian Moss (15,030) then ran out the table for Vikings, but to no avail.
Elsewhere, Masons won 6-0 against Gladiators B, while Headington Conservative Club beat Vikings B 5-1.
