BRADLEY Smith is still waiting to find out when he will go under the knife.

The MotoGP rider from Forest Hill was forced to sit out last weekend’s British Grand Prix after suffering knee ligament damage when crashing in testing last week.

He will definitely miss this weekend’s race in Misano in Italy, but is already making progress.

Smith is seeking the advice of one more expert before making the decision when to have the surgery.

The two top surgeons he has spoken to are confident he will make a 100 per cent recovery and have been amazed by the progress he has made in just seven days.

But no date has yet been fixed for an operation.
