TONY Glover and James Walter scored three touchdowns each as Oxford Saints secured promotion with a 40-19 victory over Bristol Apache.
The result stretched their perfect season to 12 straight wins and confirmed their place in the Southern Conference West Division 2 play-off final.
They will face Cambridgeshire Cats in Leeds on September 11, but can already celebrate a place in Division 1 next season as both finalists win promotion.
Saints did most of the damage in the first quarter at Tilsley Park, scoring three unanswered touchdowns.
Glover burst through from 11 yards to kick off the scoring.
Sam Fielden added the extra point – and he was on target for a pair of scores from Walter which put the home side 21-0 ahead.
It stayed that way at half-time following a second quarter where defences were on top.
Apache enjoyed the best of the third quarter, finally getting on the board through Chris Jones, who added the extra point.
Glover surged through for his second score, converted by Fielden, but Jon Walters’s touchdown reduced the arrears to 28-13.
Saints were able to finish strongly in the fourth quarter.
Glover and Walter completed their hat-tricks, sandwiching a touchdown from Max Gallagher, as Saints stylishly booked their first final appearance for a decade.
