LEADERS Kidlington Green Social Club B made light work of visitors Carterton Social Club with a 6-3 victory in the Premier Section.

Sean Holly, who hit two 180s, beat Robert Adnams to get the home side up and running in the Greene King ODDA clash, before Tom Baughan levelled.

Dave Fowler put Kidlington back in front, but once again Carterton evened things up, as Ade Learner just got the better of Joe Palmer.

However, the hosts took a decisive 4-2 lead, thanks to Geordie Grant (180) and Terry Wood, before they won the pairs 2-1.

Challow British Legion stay on their tail after they remained unbeaten with a 6-3 win over Section 1 leaders Cowley Workers Club.

Preben Krabben, Dan Wyatt, Kevin Wilkins (two 180s) and Reg Bowers helped them to victory.

Section 3 pacesetters Black Bull edged hosts Donnington Community Centre A 5-4.

George Baker, Tony Wheeler, Steve Dennett and Trevor Skinner gave the visitors a 4-0 lead.

But Donnington hit back, thanks to Darren Allen’s 144 check-out and Gary Cozier.

Black Bull lost the pairs 2-1, but it was enough to claim victory.

Unbeaten Section 4 leaders Donnington Community Centre B beat Gladiators Social Club 6-3.

Wins for Harry Norton, Mike Southey, Darren Moss and Sid Moss gave Donnington a 4-2 lead.

A 2-1 triumph in the pairs rounded off victory.

In the ladies’ matches, George Bar C edged their A team 5-4.

They were 5-1 up, thanks to Sue Cole, Helen Faulkner, Elaine McNicholas, Lee-Ann Robinson and Charlie Lacroix.

Lee Howkins had pulled one game back at 2-0.

The A team won the pairs 3-0, but it was not enough.
