OXFORD’S Jason Plato is targeting another challenge for the top three at Croft this weekend.
The Silverline Subaru BMR Racing driver has endured a tough start to the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship so far.
But a hat-trick of podiums in the last round at Oulton Park following modifications to the car has boosted the 48-year-old’s hopes that the Hertfordshire-based outfit have turned a corner.
And after his teammate Colin Turkington scored the team’s first victory at the Cheshire circuit a fortnight ago, Plato has set his sights on another visit to the rostrum.
He said: “I’m really looking forward to Croft. The Subaru Levorg came alive at Oulton Park and we are excited at the prospect of continuing where we left off.
“If all goes well, I expect us to be challenging for podium places.”
