STEVE Johnson demolished his 11 rivals to win Yarnton & District AC’s first Summer League match on Extension Pool at Tunnel Barn Farm.

An expert on this venue, Johnson weighed 177lb 3oz 0drms, catching on the pole with pellet hook bait.

New member Jamie Godfrey was second with 59.1.0, fishing caster to the far bank, while Ernie Smith was third with 39.7.0.

Masons won their match against Marston at Club Lake, Dorchester, despite having only nine contestants to their opponents’ ten.
