OXFORDSHIRE finished runners-up in Section 1 of the Southern Youth League following a 10-7 win over London.
Once again Andy Jones was the star in Oxon Under 18s’ 6-3 success, winning 2-0 with an average of 19.27.
Other singles wins came from Aaron Presley, Chris Watts, Kyle Meadows, Jamie Tricker and Sam Payne.
Oxon girls lost 2-1, despite skipper Lucy Moore picking up her first win.
The under 21s won 3-2 to finish the season unbeaten.
Chris Howse and Andrew Tomkins also boasted unbeaten records, while captain Robert Adnams produced the top average of 24.97, which included a check-out of 111.
JASON Turner was the star as Section 1 champions Peachcroft reached the final of the Greene King ODDA’s Men’s Winter Seven-a-side Cup.
In the deciding leg of their 4-2 semi-final win against Premier side Cowley Workers, Turner threw 60, 100, 100, 100 and a 141 outshot (60-57-24) to win the first leg, and added two more tons and a120-finish in the second.
In the final, Peachroft, whose other wins came from Michael Wilkes, Steve Turner and Neal Lowe, will meet Challow British Legion, who won 4-0 against Corner House.
The Ladies’ Seven-a-side final will be an all-Premier Section clash between champions Florence Park CC A and Corner House B at Cowley Workers on Friday, June 3.
