REECE Chamdal and Kavan Warrender guided Oxford to the Carter Cup national finals for a successive year.
Chamdal, 14, and Warrender, 17, were in top form at Tamworth Youth Club to help Oxford finish second at the Midland Zone finals.
After wins over Aylesbury and Tamworth, Oxford were beaten 4-1 by Nottingham in the final.
But second place ensured their slot in the national finals at Wellingborough on June 12.
JAMIE Liu will represent Europe at the ITTF World Hopes event in Doha from May 29 after attending a selection camp in Luxemburg.
Under 13 Liu, of Shiplake College, was also in action at the Butterfly ESTTA Individual Championships in Wolverhampton, finishing runner-up.
After beating Louis Price (Avon) over five games in the quarter-finals, Liu saw off Freddie Osenton-Brown (Yorkshire) in the last four.
He lost to Louis Moyes (Norfolk) in the final.
Under 16 Chamdal, of Cooper School, Bicester, went out in the last 16.
