BAR BILLIARDS: Headington Conservative Club reach Grace J's Plate semi-finals
HEADINGTON Conservative Club are through to the semi-finals of the Johnsons Buildbase Oxford & District League’s Gracie J’s Plate, writes PETE EWINS.
Ernie Smith’s win plus victories in both the pairs matches saw the Section 2 side fight back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 with Berinsfield.
Headington went through, having outscored their Section 1 opponents by 3,180 points across the six matches.
Masons B beat Gladiators Club B 4-2.
John Patey (11,110) and Billy Hill (6,220) starred in West Oxford Democrats Club’s 4-2 win over Gladiators Club A.
