Fabian Whitbread and Emily Wood led a successful time for City of Oxford in the second round of the Oxfordshire & North Bucks County Championships in Aylesbury.
Both Whitbread, 23, and Wood, 16, became open county champions in the 400m individual medley.
In the men’s open 400m IM, Whitbread, David Murphy and Luke Thomas provided a clean sweep of the medals for City.
Whitbread took gold in 4mins 24.87secs, Murphy silver in 4.27.60 and Thomas bronze in 4.19.10.
Ewan Springett, 15, took silver In the junior championship in 4.49.40.
In the women’s open 400m IM, Wood finished strongly to win gold in 4.53.96, with Emily Nisbet taking bronze in 4.58.40.
Annie Sharp, 15 added a bronze medal in the junior championship in 5.12.06.
In the women’s open 400m freestyle, Nisbet collected a silver in 4.26.25, with Eleanor McNally, 16, taking bronze in 4.29.06.
In the junior championship, Chiara de Vita, 15, took bronze in 4.38.21. In the junior men’s race Springett was third in 4.11.07.
City’s domination of the girls relays continued with four win out of four.
The 13-14 years 4 x 50m freestyle relay team of Erin Gilchrist, Megan Smit, Zoe Coombs and Safiya Sillah took gold for Oxford A in 1.58.19.
The medley relay saw the Oxford B team of Cathryn Peake, Delphine Little, Tiana Porter and Smit come first in in 4.10.26, just ahead of Oxford A's Mimi Morley Iszatt, Safiya Sillah, Erin Gilchrist and Zoe Coombs, who took silver.
In the 11-12 year old category, Evie Mclean, Ayanna Fulga, Lara Mills and Gretel Goodgame took gold for Oxford A in 2.04.80.
Mclean, Fulga, Mills and Goodgame repeated their success with gold in the 50m medley relay in 2.19.47.
City’s Chris Currie took gold in the men’s multi-classification 400m freestyle in 4.48.73 with Libby Gotta, 11, coming first in the girls race in 5.42.45.
