CITY of Oxford A impressed to finish third in the third round of the Milton Keynes & District Junior League Division 1 in Guildford.

Billy Wotton took first place in the 12 and under boys’ 50m breaststroke, while Nicholas Skelton won the 50m backstroke in the same category.

Evie Mclean came home first in the girls’ aged 11 and under 50m breaststroke race, and was part of the girls’ relay team which won the 4x25m medley, along with Lara Mills, Gretal Goodgame and Zoe Smith.

Mills also came second in the girls’ aged 11 and under 50m backstroke, as did Ralph Cooke in the boys' event.

There were also silver medal finishes in the relay events for the nine-year-old boys’ and ten-year-old girls’ medley, as well as the 11-year-old girls', and the boys’ 12 and under freestyle teams.

City of Oxford B finished fourth at the Division 2 gala in Blackbird Leys.

Freya Jones, Olivia Watkiss, Jasmine Johnson and Trinity Talkington won the 12 and under girls’ relay.

Abigail Hobbins, Rosie Hilton-Dew, Freya Little and Honey Valdiserri eased to victory in the ten and under girls’ medley, before the 11 and under girls’ medley of Steph Jervis, Grace O’Gorman, Susie Heron and Saskia Boyns also won.

Thomas Johnson claimed first spot in the nine-year-old boys’ 25m breaststroke, following that up by finishing third in the 25m butterfly.

Rosie Hilton-Dew was first in the 10-year-old girls’ 50m breaststroke and Susie Heron clinched the girls’ 11 and under 50m butterfly race.

Grace O’Gorman was victorious in the 11 and under 50m breaststroke victory.

Adam Clare, Freya Little, Andrew Taylor, Saskia Boyns, Amy Orbell-Durrant and Alex Underwood all claimed silver medals.

In the relays, the ten-year-old boys' medley and 11 and under girls' freestyle teams both came second.
