Oxfordshire's Lawrence Clarke goes into the Sainsbury’s Anniversary Games at London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park tonight in buoyant mood after recording two wins in the past week.
The 25-year-old, from Christmas Common, near Watlington, booked his place at next month’s World Championships in Beijing by achieving the qualifying time for the 110m hurdles when winning in 13.44secs at Loughborough European Athletics Permit last weekend.
He followed it up with victory in 13.42 in the Gala dei Castelli meeting in the Swiss city of Bellinzona on Tuesday, beating USA’s Jarret Eaton by 0.03.
The heats start at 7.38pm, with the final at 9.17.
