Kevin Jeacock showed the benefits of Beehive AC’s recent re-stocking by winning the club’s FA & UEFA Cup quarter-finals with a threefigure weight at Lower Court.
Jeacock won with with 116lb of carp, tench and bream on pole with pellet and meat.
Tim Whitewood was runner-up with with 70lb 12oz carp to pole and maggot, while Bob Hopgood came third with 57lb carp to pole and meat Anthony Holder won the Tackley’s Sports Club Trophy from eight rivals on the River Cherwell at Northbrook.
Holder caught roach on the pole for a winning weight of 3.2.0. Mony Finnemore was second with 2.9.0 and Geoff Broome third with 2.8.0 – both catching roach.
