HEADINGTON Conservative Club have been crowned Johnsons Buildbase Oxford & District League Section 2 champions after a 3-2 win at Marlborough.
Sid Ponting, who takes the most wins award with a game to spare, secured the deciding leg.
Gladiators Club B’s hopes ended after a 5-0 loss to West Oxford Democrats Club.
In Section 1, Didcot Conservative Club require two points against Marlborough tonight to secure the title after a 4-1 win over Masons.
